This is a web-scraping project which extracts all video entries of “global breaking news” from the front page of YouTube. Produced with Selenium and Python code
What does it do?
Successfully tracks time sensitive data by using Selenium web-scraping tools on the front page of YouTube platform. Compiled a series of data analytics and visualisations to emphasize the most frequented news sources and headlines.
Purpose
Reduces time taken to read the daily news. Useful for marketing analysis of top news headlines and the nature of news providers.
Advantages
It features an automated system for archiving old data. Each day a new .csv file is produced for global news.
